JP is a dedicated, hardworking, and passionate Doctor of Physical Therapy. He is trained in Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation and utilizes a wide array of innovative treatment techniques to help his patients achieve their goals and maximize their potential.

He is exceptionally driven to provide high quality patient-centered care and always focuses on working compassionately and harmoniously with his patients during their course of treatment. JP is eager to give back to the community by using his current knowledge and by actively pursuing advanced certifications that give him insight on cutting-edge treatment techniques.

JP earned his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree at Samuel Merritt University, where he excelled in subjects such as anatomy and biomechanics, ultimately utilizing his expertise by acting as a peer tutor and mentor for fellow graduate students. He was also involved in research by completing an evidence-based systematic review on the effects of blood flow restriction training.

His journey towards becoming a physical therapist started early, in his high school football days, when he was always researching ways to help rehabilitate his injured friends and family that experienced injuries, pain, and movement limitations. JP became set on beginning his path to help others by way of optimizing their movement and improving their quality of life.

Focusing on Exercise Science, with an emphasis on Therapeutic Exercise and Rehabilitation during his undergraduate career gave him a strong background in foundational sciences. Having a background in Communication studies and being a fluent Spanish speaker with a unique cultural background, he is readily available to serve the many diverse members of his community.

When he is not in the clinic, you can find JP enjoying spending quality time with his family and friends. He also enjoys activities such as basketball, football, mixed martial arts, and hiking.
