Devin is an orthopedic manual therapist who specializes in Applied Functional Science, which is an area of movement science dedicated to examining the physical, biological, and behavioral aspects of why humans move. Devin’s goal is to find where the fault lies within the body, see how this is affecting overall movement, and develop an individualized plan to correct it. Devin believes it is imperative to address the biomechanical faults and compensations our bodies make and focus on root causes of the dysfunction rather than merely the symptoms. Devin prides himself in being an active listener, which helps build trust with each patient.
Devin seeks to connect the mind, body, and spirit to the healing process because healing the body is just as much mental as it is physical.
Devin received both his Doctorate of Physical Therapy and undergraduate degree in Kinesiology from San Diego State University. Devin has extensive experience in outpatient orthopedic settings working with patients ranging from pediatrics, high-level athletes, and the geriatric population.
Outside of the clinic Devin enjoys playing basketball, doing yoga, going snowboarding, and hiking in the backcountry. He also loves cooking vegetarian food along with writing music and performing with his socially conscious hip-hop group.
