Kathryn Scott, DPT

Biography

Dr. Kathryn Scott was working as a research biologist on commercial fishing vessels in Central California when a debilitating knee injury first brought her to physical therapy. Through her rehab process, she learned to love the science behind the movements she did to get healthy again. She attributes the work of her physical therapists to her full return to a happy and healthy body, and it was through these experiences that she discovered her passion to provide this same type of care to others. Because of Kathryn’s own experience with physical therapy, she has a greater understanding of what it is like for her patients to go through treatment. She enjoys working with people to discover a rehab plan that is right for them to achieve their specific goals.

Kathryn is a graduate of UCSF/SFSU Doctorate of Physical Therapy program. She has advanced certifications in Myofascial Decompression, Running Gait Analysis, and Trigger Point Dry Needling. In her free time she enjoys swimming, rock climbing, yoga, a variety of strength training classes, and all types of outdoor exploration.
