Biography

Dr. Daniel Robeson is a lifelong athlete who brings his love of strength and conditioning to his professional practice. He is passionate about bridging the gap from rehabilitation to performance and believes in taking people all the way through this continuum of care. He specializes in working with active individuals from marathon runners to competitive weightlifters.

Dan knows firsthand the power physical therapy can have in returning people to the activities they love. As a young baseball player, he rehabbed a torn rotator cuff, avoided surgery, and returned to the mound to pitch again.

Prior to joining our team as a physical therapist, Dan was a Physical Therapy Aide and Trainer in SOL’s Performance Center.  As a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist and Cross-Fit Level 1 Instructor, Dan brings his unique combination of knowledge, skill and experience to his work as a physical therapist.  He has an in-depth knowledge of exercise science and movement biomechanics, and he uses functional movement techniques to break down complex movements into fundamental ones, thereby laying the foundation on which performance and skills are built.  To ensure his patients maintain their physical progress well beyond discharge, Dan utilizes a balanced blend of education and encouragement to ensure the patient’s plan of care is well-established.

When Dan isn’t helping patients achieve their highest functioning, he enjoys backbacking, mountain biking, and snowboarding and he’s always looking for a new adventure to try. Dan has a passion for people,  he loves BBQing with friends and he is an avid Bay-Area sports fan.
